Tariffs & destination rates

Prepare destination-prefix pricing before enabling client billing.

Create a tariff#

Open Tariffs, create a named tariff and choose its currency. Add rates for the destination prefixes the client will use. Assign the tariff in the client's Settings.

Tariffs in the demonstration instance

Check the rate contract#

Confirm the destination format used by the application and provider. A prefix rule must match that format. Check currency, unit price and the effective matching rate; a readable tariff name alone does not supply a rate.

Editing rates#

Use the rate list's filters, row actions and bulk tools. Inspect selected records before bulk updating or deleting rates. Reopen the tariff and verify values after saving. Keep a dated export or backup before a commercial change.

Billing behavior#

The client chooses whether billing is enabled and whether it is prepay or postpay. Message parts affect the charge. The current Voice path reuses the SMS tariff/part implementation rather than adding a per-minute Voice price.

Verify with a controlled submission#

Review the assigned tariff, matching destination, part count, price per part, total charge and wallet transaction. Compare reports in the same time zone and period. Example demo balances and prices are fictional.

Keep tariffs separate from hosting plans#

Public SMSFlare hosting prices pay for an instance and support. They do not include SMS traffic, voice termination or a carrier rate deck.

Screenshots show fictional data from the public demo. Your instance may have different records and permissions.
