SMPP & Voice clients
Create clients while preserving routing, access and billing settings.
Create an account#
Open SMPP Clients → Add new client. Complete the Settings, Client data, URLs and Contents sections as needed. Save only after reviewing the delivery adapter and commercial settings.
Essential fields#
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Login / password | SMPP credentials; passwords are 3–8 characters in this implementation |
| IP addresses | Permitted client source IPs; the editor supports up to 20 |
| Enabled | Whether the account can operate |
| Web Access | Access to the client web panel |
| Delivery Channel | SMPP or VOICE |
| Routing Type | Direct SMS gateway or SMS routing group |
| Voice Routing Group | Required for a Voice client |
| Billing / Mode / Tariff | Charging controls, prepay/postpay and destination rates |
| Auto DLR / Success override | Receipt behavior; review the DLR guide before changing |
Edit without changing the channel#
A Voice client keeps its Voice group and uses the Voice submission path before SMS transformations. The SMS message-options group is disabled in the Voice editor. Changing a client profile should not be used as an accidental way to switch delivery channels.
Profile and content#
Client data stores company and contact details. URLs contains destinations used for rewriting. Contents stores message templates. URL presentation and transformation switches are in Settings.
Verify a change#
Reopen the account and confirm the channel, route and billing values. Changes affecting bind authentication can disconnect a session; other settings can be reloaded. Inspect the bind error rather than repeatedly changing credentials.
Wallet and credit#
The table actions open separate wallet and credit transactions. A balance and a credit limit are different values. Read Billing before modifying either.
