Using the public demo

Explore sample records without treating them as real traffic or delivery evidence.

Verified 2026-10-28 · 2 min read

Open the demo#

Visit demo.smsflare.net. Public demo mode provides one-click access to the demonstration identity. The documentation images were captured from this instance on 28 October 2026.

The seeded accounts, provider names, reserved example IP addresses, messages, OTPs, costs and call records are fictional. Finished records illustrate reporting; they are not proof of a live carrier connection.

What to explore#

  1. Start with Dashboard. The sample records are dated 27 October 2026: on 28 October choose Yesterday; on later dates find them using date filters in detailed reports. An empty Today is expected without new traffic.
  2. Inspect clients and compare SMPP and VOICE delivery channels.
  3. Open gateway and routing lists.
  4. Review tariffs, billing summaries, CDRs and Voice statistics.
  5. Open New test to inspect the available options.
  6. Explore IVR, TTS providers and TTS voices.
Tests in the public demo

Sending is a separate step#

Sample SMS and SIP gateways are disabled. The current demo has no active testUser account for the SMPP test sender. The editor remains available for preview, while sending is disabled. Do not enable production providers just to browse the interface.

Demo versus normal operation#

DEMO_MODE=true enables the public demo login. Switching it to false and restarting the API disables that login and revokes the public demo identity's sessions. Keep the demo email configured and retain a separate private administrator. This switch does not automatically impose feature quotas or reset user changes.

Shared environment#

Other visitors can use the same demonstration identity. Use fictional information and avoid storing real credentials, personal data or customer traffic in the demo.

Screenshots show fictional data from the public demo. Your instance may have different records and permissions.
